Argent Architects designed these offices for Robert Halford of www.rhenvironmental.co.uk near Cardigan, Ceredigion. This innovative eco-friendly new build project has received detailed planning permission for new offices in open countryside. The building form is of a Dutch Barn with a smaller milking parlour at right angles . This is ideal for its use, offering a grand galleried work space, with ancillary accommodation in the milking parlour.
It is a ground breaking project in that it succeeds mainly due to careful contextual design and patient negotiation with Ceredigion County Council. Building works are set to commence 2011.
