Tenby
Argent architects
produced this Cottage near Tenby, which is situated in a
very sensitive conservation area at the heart of Pembrokeshire Coast
National Park Authority, adjacent to the Norman Church and Castle.
Working closely with the client and the planning department we transformed
the tiny cottage into a modern family home, and actually enhanced
the charm of the original tiny cottage, which is a grade two listed
building with many interesting historic features. By means of a
new linked outbuilding modern facilities have been added - Kitchen,
Dining, Bedroom, 2 Bathrooms and Utility Room. Large openings bring
the garden into the house. The semi circular stair element allows
maximum use of space and relates to Manorbier Church and castle
nearby.

Tenby Lifeboat Station
Argent Architects with imaginative
client, Mr Tim O'Donovan, have recently submitted a dramatic design
to Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks Authority for the Old Tenby
Lifeboat Station. This has created a flurry of interest from far
and wide, and has been featured on BBC Wales television and radio.
The Old Tenby Lifeboat Station is a listed structure which CADW
are keen to preserve. |
