Replica Ulysse Nardin Diver Deep Dive Practice
Ulysse Nardin knows how to design. The creators of the Freak often combine aggressive styling with high-end timepieces in their various collections of sports and dress watches. In recent years, UN has also expanded its range of dive watches with the Marine Diver, the vintage-style Diver Le Locle and the Diver Chronograph Artemis Racing. Further expanding its dense collection of dive watches, Ulysse Nardin has just released the duplicatively named Ulysse Nardin Diver Deep Dive Hammerhead Shark Limited Edition, a 46 mm diver's watch driven by an in-house movement, water resistant to 1,000 metres. Here, we take the new watch hands-on to see if it's better suited as a dive timer or as a ship's anchor.
Starting with the case, the Diver Deep Dive is housed in a 46mm wide titanium block to keep the overall weight down to an acceptable level. At nine o'clock, the Diver Deep Dive high quality replica watches has a completely unnecessary but cool "automatic screw-in pressure relief valve system," which is Ulysse Nardin's term for a helium release valve. This little screw-on attachment also has a thin red rubber ring just outside the center of its "He" symbol. While I won't go into depth here, the helium release valve is a way to allow helium to escape from the inside of the watch as its wearer is a professional saturation diver decompressing from operating depths within the saturation system . If you're not one of those people, and you almost certainly aren't, there's absolutely nothing good about this little valve other than looking cool -- as I've said here.
At two o'clock, a large screw-down crown, also with a red rubber ring, sits beneath a larger, folding crown guard in a style reminiscent of Panerai's Luminor. "1000M" is engraved in red on the front of the hood, and a small hammerhead shark is featured on the side. On the other end of the crown guard, an engraved limited edition number, also in red, is revealed. The wide titanium unidirectional diver's bezel is partially covered with wave-patterned rubber to facilitate the demonstration of diving tools and is deeply machined around its perimeter for easy grip. Perhaps my favorite case is actually the screw-down case back with the front view of the hammerhead shark engraved on it, and as I mentioned, this visual theme is repeated throughout the best replica watches uk.
Our ground unit at SIHH (i.e. David, who took these images and processed the watch) reported that not only does the Diver Deep Dive have a ridiculously bad reputation, but they also have some very, very sharp edges on the case. Some of the edges of the bezel, especially the crown guard, feel like raw machined edges, as sharp as those left by the CNC. While in our shared opinion a luxury watch should not have any sharp edges like these anywhere, here they are palpably felt across a range of edges. We wouldn't call it dangerous - but we certainly wouldn't want a sharp crown guard on the side of a purse or jacket. This is an area where the UN should fine-tune anyway.
The navy blue dial of the Ulysse Nardin is embossed with the three-dimensional silhouettes of 15 (I counted) hammerhead sharks. Large applied luminous hour markers and skeletonized hands keep the dive watch theme alive, while the large off-centre small seconds subdial, also adorned with its own hammer, tracks the seconds at five o'clock via tiny, red luminous hands. A round black and white date window has also been carefully tucked into the three o'clock position. The dial, while I'd still have to call it busy, isn't actually terribly cluttered, and it does a good job of maintaining the strong vibe of a dive watch tool watch—and not just with sharks.
Having a clear and easy-to-read dial is key for a dive watch, and the Diver Deep Dive promises to help in that regard, which is crucial for divers to know if their watch is functioning while underwater. However, given that this watch will most likely never get deeper than the bottom of a luxury pool, this isn't much of an issue. I can especially appreciate the three-dimensionality of it all, the applied markers that stretch above the dial, or the bridges with the - mind you, well executed - Ulysse Nardin logo. The “hammer shark” lettering is hilarious – as if it was meant to remind the wearer when they are asked about the creatures on the watch at a bar.Replica Richard Mille Bubba Watson
The strap is also the key to a dive watch, and the Ulysse Nardin Diver Deep Dive Hammerhead Shark Limited Edition is designed to match the depth of water on a blue rubber strap, which is inlaid with two pieces of titanium, one near each lug. The titanium detail at twelve o'clock on the case is engraved with the manufacturer's name, while the titanium part at six o'clock reads "Limited Edition". A signature deployant clasp rounds out the strap, which as a whole complements the look of the watch. The straps are cut to size, which isn't the size we'd like, but it's true that once you get a strap like this down to fit, they tend to be more comfortable than those that are too long.
In keeping with the Ulysse Nardin trend of incorporating in-house movements into watches in recent years, the Diver Deep Dive features a UN-320 movement, a silicon screw and anchor escapement, conceived and manufactured entirely in-house, and powering up to 48 hours Booking. Given that the UN-320 is included in many UN offerings in this price category, Ulysse Nardin views the 320 as a “all-around” automatic choice. While the movement that keeps a dive watch running is usually not important to the real diver as long as it works, the inclusion of an in-house manufactured caliber in the Diver Deep Dive shows the United Nations' desire for independence and the consistently high respect that is taking shape .
While there's a lot to like about the Ulysse Nardin Diver Deep Dive Hammerhead Shark initially, I've come to appreciate its styling for its unapologetic adherence to the extreme look we've come to expect from the UN. While it’s not for everyone, it’s nice to see a brand really go for — and even exaggerate — the look of a dive watch, as Ulysse Nardin did with the Diver Deep Dive. Of course, doubt that too many real divers will use the Diver Deep Dive, but I can safely say that this watch is not primarily made for them, but for those of us who love and enjoy highly oversized watches of.Tonino Lamborghini replica watches
